Day 3 August 19 Anchorage and Kenai Peninsula

Anchorage has a lot of character and this is some of the unusual things on the Menu,but i ordered a Brathwhurst.

The Alaska native heritage center explains the History and Culture of the different clans in Alaska,such as the Yupik, Inuity and Athkabaskan tribes. Stories are told and the center includes Model houses demonstrating their way of life.

Houses were built into the side of hills to provide warmth in the extreme winter.

Driving south from Anchorage you can see some of the most breath taking scenery.
