are offered snacks on the flight. I take the Beef Jerky. Apparently we have this in Australia,but this is the first time i have tried it.
FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD
Beef Jerky is basically smoked beef sealed in a plastic wrapper. The taste is smokey and slightly spicy.
This is very chewy and is delicious. Food portions in the US are large and everything seems to be served with Chips. When you order a Salad you have the choice of 4 to 5 different varieties of Dressing. Fish and seafood
obviously features strongly in the Alaskan Restaurants. This includes Halibut ( a fish without a strong taste), Crab and Salmon. My favorite is clam Chowder,which i would describe as somewhere bettween a Soup and casserole.
My Plane Snack
Juneau is where the Large ships dock for the inside Passage cruises and i mean large. These vessels
carry up to 1000 Passengers and are basically floating cities. A number of these are lined up in
the Juneau dock.
